About Us

InsulPro is a New Zealand owned and operated manufacturer of polyester thermal and acoustic insulation.  We supply the local New Zealand market and export a range of insulation products for the home or commercial building.

We are proud to be New Zealand made and supporting New Zealand by creating warmer, healthier homes and buildings as well as investing in research and development.  We have manufacturing facilities in Auckland and Milton, near Dunedin.

Creating better environments

We are passionate about protecting the environment and strive to ensure that we are creating better environments in everything that we do from taking waste plastic bottles and creating warmer homes, to effective manufacturing processes to ensure energy efficiency and waste reduction, through to producing ceiling, wall and underfloor insulation that is 100% recyclable.

Innovation

Our investment in cutting-edge research and development is ongoing. We test and develop products at the University of Auckland, at BRANZ (Building Research Association of New Zealand), and in conjunction with other researchers and industry leaders. Our specialist polyester insulation manufacturing plant is regularly upgraded to ensure we can pass on the benefits of new technology. Our newest Auckland plant, commissioned in early 2010, allows InsulPro to maximize the amount of recycled fibres used in production.

Manufacturing capabilities

InsulPro’s product range is 100% New Zealand made. Three specialist insulation plants make the NOVAtherm Ceiling and Wall Insulation and NOVAfloor Underfloor Insulation range of products from imported high quality polyester, including polyester fibres made from recycled plastic bottles.

InsulPro’s Milton factory near Dunedin specialises in producing NOVAtherm insulation blanket. In East Tamaki, Auckland, InsulPro has two plants which produce the full product range.
